My wife and I had been through several home renovations, and they were all problematic and stressful, until we discovered Central Florida’s best hidden secret. Working with Ted and Erin was a night and day experience from start to finish. Ted listened and worked with us in the beginning to put together line and 3D CAD drawings of the project until we were happy with the layout and other finishes. Once the project commenced, Ted arrived and stayed every single day and had his nose to the grindstone, sometimes working late into the evenings to complete his goals. The level of honesty, care, quality, craftsmanship and detail given to our project is something that seems to be lost with tradesmen these days and Ted encompasses them all. He's not just there to earn a living, but most importantly to make sure the customer gets what they deserve and is thrilled with the result. Ted has completely remodeled our almost 50-year-old bathroom in Wekiva Springs, and we've already requested to get back onto his 2024 calendar to remodel our Kitchen and Dining rooms. Ted from Soloman Design did an outstanding job with a project to convert an open concept dining room into an enclosed flex-use room. Leading up to the project, I had put out bids to multiple contractors; Soloman Design was competitive in terms of price, but blew the others away with courtesy, responsiveness, professionalism, and service. Of course, it’s one thing to quote and communicate (which Ted has been great at), but it’s quite another to actually execute. This specific job impacted three different spaces in our home; requiring demolition, preservation of materials to be re-used, utility adjustments, framing, drywall, installation of doors, paint and finish carpentry. Ted was consistently communicating throughout, and when unexpected factors came into play, he was expertly able to come up with multiple suggestions to adjust plans to our satisfaction. He also stopped to confirm specifics rather than making assumptions, so as to ensure that the job performed was as expected. As for the actual outcome – the results speak for themselves. It looks better than I had envisioned, blends in as if it were always intended to be part of the original build, and everything was completed with a very high degree of quality. Moreover, there were no surprises, no bait and switch, and nothing off-putting about the work being done. The price quoted remained true throughout, and the job was contained throughout its course; our home and belongings were respected and isolated from the work, and there was time deliberately spent to clean up every day. Ted takes pride in his work – he continuously was looking at the small details (that many other contractors would likely dismiss) and adjusted accordingly to make things absolutely perfect – even if it cost him extra time. I appreciate that eye for detail along with the willingness and desire to “get it right” without being prompted. He also is clearly highly knowledgeable and skilled in the trades, and is happy to share details and answer questions along the way. I can’t say enough good things about Ted; so, to make things simple – I’d absolutely hire Soloman Design Co. again. The work is of very high quality, it is competitively priced, and Ted is a friendly, consummate professional through and through. We had a pipe that cracked and water was leaking everywhere. Ted came right out the same day to check and knew exactly what to do, now it’s all fixed, no more leaking! We had a 2 leaky faucets and a toilet that wouldn't stop running, along with a shower that wouldn't get hot for some reason. Ted came over promptly and was able to completely fix everything within a short amount of time. He was very kind, professional, knowledgeable, and honest (which we appreciate more than anything). He figured out the problems right away. We have had no issues since he left and I can't wait to get our next water bill and see how much money he saved us!!!

Ted is an excellent worker, very trustworthy and his work is superior. Ted renovated my kitchen. He actually made all the kitchen doors for 32 cabinets in my kitchen. He is very talented. He has completed several projects for me, such as building a front porch, installing crown molding, plumbing issues, remodeling a bathroom. I cannot say enough good things about my experience.
